A former airline pilot, his career on the flight deck spanned many years across New Zealand and the Middle East, providing him with a unique perspective on global power dynamics. He is also a veteran mariner who spent nearly three years sailing the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, and the Pacific. This lifetime of navigating both the skies and the seas provides the authentic, high stakes backdrop for his gripping exploration of survival and the human conscience.
